5 Months!

Wow, Graham is five months old. How did the time go by SO FAST!?!? I can already see my cute little baby becoming a big boy. He has changed so much over the last five months since we've had him.
Last time we went to the doctor he was 15lbs. Now that he is eating solid foods (and doing very well with them) I would say he is around 17lbs already. He's probably about 27 inches long now. We have moved from 6-9month clothes into 9-12 month. His pants were a little short on him and we were stretching the onsies to the point of snapping when we decided we better up his sizes, again. He is such a big kid!
He still only has two teeth and no signs of more coming in yet. I sure hope they wait until he is older. I can't handle more teeth yet.
He loves his voice and will scream just to hear it. He jabbers all of the time now and has even made sounds sounding like mama. I bet that will be his first word.;)
He loves to laugh and giggles at everything. We can now tickle him and he will laugh. It sure makes everything better when we hear how happy he is.
He loves to be outside but gets a little nervous when a strong wind hits him in the face. He loves to go on walks in his stroller and looking around at everything outside. Eric and I have started walking to church (since we are lucky enough for it to be a 10 minute walk) and have spent a couple Sunday afternoons walking through the park. It's good exercise for us and Graham loves it!

Graham has really taken a liking to animals and laughs when he sees a dog or cat (no plans of getting either one of these pets anytime soon though.)
He has suddenly become very interested in toys. He loves anything we give him to play with and found it is the only way to keep him quiet in the car or church now.
Graham has started rolling. He can get from his tummy to his back easily (mostly because he HATES being on his tummy and will do anything to get off of it) but is still working on back to tummy. He is SO close. He hasn't made it completely over yet but has figured out how to do a complete 360 on the floor by arching his back and kicking off with his legs. I think he'll make it over very soon.
He is so good with his hands now. He can reach out and grab something without struggling to get it. If his toy is on one side of him, he'll reach out and grab it and pull it to the other.
He loves to watch sports still. We have greatly enjoyed watching all of the JAZZ games that have been on lately. He is so mesmerized by the tv. He also loves watching Eric play on his softball team. We have been going to the games and Graham will intently stare at daddy while they play. I think we have a future sports star on our hands!
Graham is amazed by his daddy. Eric can simply look at Graham and he lights up, smiling and laughing at anything daddy does. Eric can no longer put Graham to bed because Graham thinks it's play time. Eric will try so hard to be serious and get Graham to sleep but Graham will look up at Eric with the biggest smile on his face and laugh at nothing. If Eric is in the room while I'm feeding Graham, he gets so distracted looking at daddy that Eric will have to take over the feeding just to get Graham to focus. He watches Eric do everything and gets so excited whenever he picks him up. When Eric walks in the door, Graham instantly looks at him and squeals in delight. Daddy is already a hero to Graham and Eric loves every moment of being his father.
Eric and I are amazed at the changes that have taken place within the last month. He all of the sudden looks like a little boy rather than a baby and has developed so many motor skills and a crazy personality. It's amazing how quickly it has gone.
Here are some pictures from the last month. We spent Easter with Eric's brothers, Tim and Nate and their families. Each of them have a 9 month old girl and Graham is almost as big as they are. It's pretty crazy how big he is.




Graham has been spitting lately. He makes this face and blows. We call it his elephant. He thinks he is hilarious when he does it.

And this is the result of the spitting. Actually, Graham constantly has drool running down his chin but it's worse after he does the elephant spit.


Graham really enjoys his food and the shirt says it all!


Graham is definitely a momma's boy and he loves to snuggle with me. It's one of my favorite things to do with him.
